Geeta Sharma is a distinguished translator and literary figure from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, who has devoted over 15 years to the preservation, enrichment, and promotion of the Chhattisgarhi language through meticulous translation of classical Sanskrit texts.

Her monumental work includes the translation of 24,000 Vedic shlokas of the Shiv Mahapuran, nine Ishadi Upanishads, and the characters of the Mahabharata into Chhattisgarhi. These works have been officially published by the Chhattisgarh Rajbhasha Ayog (State Language Commission) under the Chhattisgarh Government.

She was also selected to translate the Tirukkural — the ancient Tamil classic by Saint Tiruvalluvar — into Chhattisgarhi under the guidance of Dr. Algumuthu, which she completed on time.
